I ordered shade 100, which is the lightest shade in the collection. The color matched me perfectly, for a while until it oxidized orange. 😫
The first day I wore it I had to be at work by 6am so I was getting ready at 5 and it was still dark outside when we left so I didn’t get a great look. I took my lunch around 9am and went to touch up my lipstick, and you guys….. I was shook in the worst way.
All over my skin was separated foundation and so much texture that I don’t normally have.
I had liquid highlighter on as a primer (mixed with moisturizer) which is how I do my foundation every day, but because it was the Colourpop highlight that I hadn’t tried before I basically wrote off the separation and texture on that.
At night I washed my face like normal and went to bed.
I woke up with red, raw skin that was so dry. I typically have normal skin with a little oil on my tzone. But my face felt so scaly.
I took a full day off of makeup and just wore moisturizer.
Today when I went in for the foundation I decided no highlight drops, I also tried to apply with a brush. It was going on so patchy I switched back to a damp beauty sponge.
I started to notice a little separation on my cheeks and chin so I blended it in as best as possible and put on my concealer and loose powder as normal, but after a few minutes you could see in the mirror all the separation.
I went to clean it off with a warm towel and my face burned so bad. I instantly was beat red after removing it.
Soooooo needless to say I will be bringing it back to Sephora. But I am so bummed about it.
I think if you have super oily skin this may work for you. Unfortunately it was not the case for me.
I’m now in the market for a new foundation, leave me suggestions in the comments. 🤗
